Earlier this week I brought you a super bright faux fur and fluffy coat moodboard, to warm you to what is set to be one of autumn/winter’s biggest trends. Now though, it’s time to find the very best coloured fluffy and faux fur coats to recreate those looks we saw on Wednesday (here). When it comes to this trend, the less organic the colour- the better, so opting for pop block colours will instantly update an outfit. Teamed with a crisp shirt underneath these coats look amazing, so let’s get started with the top affordable picks.

topshop coat

This bright red £95 Topshop number should also be released in a bright blue very soon, so if that’s more your colour, then stay tuned! This gorgeous bright fluffy red coat though is a great compromise if you’re adverse to overly furry/shaggy faux fur jackets. This light, fluffy bomber style coat will amp up any outfit, and is definitely smart enough to wear for work too, it’s double-duty at it’s best whether it’s the weekend or the work-week. You can pick this coat up here.

untold

This more cheap and cheerful option is the least pricey of all today’s coats. This Untold at House of Fraser coat has been dropped down to a lowly £48 in the sale recently having originally been £160. This is a fantastic dupe for the Gypsy Junkies Bowie coat that I’m also featuring today, so if you love the style, but don’t want to stretch your budget, this might be the way to go. This is arguably more wearable than most of today’s picks due to its more neutral colouring, so for more versatility, maybe go for this. You can pick this up here.

topshop coat 2

Back to Topshop now for the second of two great coats they have on offer at the moment. This fluffy boyfriend coat is two-trends-in-one, offering you the oversized trend on the one hand and the coloured fur trend on the other. If you’re a fan of killing two birds with one stone and want a classic shape and cut of coat, but with a modern, 2013 twist, then this is for you. Toning this down with crisp white shirts and a killer pair of either jeans or smart suit pants will really give it fashion mileage and show business-wear doesn’t have to mean boring. You can pick this coat up from Topshop for £89 here.

gypsy junkie

Lastly, but by no means least, is today’s piece de resistance. Anything that claims to be Bowie inspired is a winner in my book, and this Gypsy Junkies Bowie coat from Koshka is right up my street. With a serious seventies lean, this coat needs vigilance when dressing to make sure you’re not going fancy dress. With modern separates this coat could look seriously cool, especially when juxtaposed with ankle boots and more girly autumn/winter dresses. At £144.05 down from £274.70 this is by no means cheap, but you are getting a bargain compared to the original price. You can pick up this incredible coat from Koshka here.

That’s it for today’s get the look post, let me know what you think of today’s pieces and if you’d wear them, I’d love to know! Just leave me a comment below and/or tweet me @MillieDelacoe. Until next time…
